Chelsea Wolfe announces new album 'Birth of Violence', acoustic tour

Chelsea Wolfe is ready to deliver another classic album with Birth of Violence, which arrives on September 13. With a new record in hand, she’s also heading out on tour, but it’s in a much different setting.

Revealed yesterday, the dark folk singer will make her way across the country on an acoustic tour. The tour begins on October 18 at San Diego’s Observatory North Park before hitting up cities such as Toronto, Brooklyn, and Nashville. Joining her as support for the entire trek is Io Echo vocalist Ioanna Gika. Tickets will go on sale to the general public this Friday (June 21) at 9 a.m. PST/noon EST.

To get fans excited, Wolfe unveiled the first single from Birth of Violence titled “The Mother Road,” which you can hear below. Pre-orders for the album are now live here for the North American crowd and here for the European fans.

Birth of Violence is the follow up to Wolfe’s acclaimed 2017 studio album Hiss Spun.
