Missy Elliott, Vampire Weekend announced for Governors Ball 2020

After a ton of teasing on social media, Governors Ball Music Festival have finally unveiled the lineup for their 2020 installment.

Released today, the festival will have headlining sets from Missy Elliott, Vampire Weekend, Flume, and Tame Impala. Other noticeable acts performing include Madeon, Girl Talk, and Foals. You can check out the full lineup below.

Tickets for the music festival go on sale to the general public tomorrow (January 17) at noon EST. Aside from general admission tickets, two tiers of VIP packages will be available. Newly released for the 2020 installment is the VIP Luxe package, which includes a luxury suite for main stage viewing and a private caterer.

Governors Ball 2020 will take place at Randall’s Island Park in New York City from June 5 through June 7.

Foals announce North American co-headlining tour with Local Natives

English indie rockers Foals will embark on a co-headlining tour across North America with Local Natives next spring.

Announced today, the co-headlining tour will kick off May 20 inside Los Angeles’ Greek Theatre, and it’ll conclude at Chicago’s Aragon Ballroom on June 10. Opening the trek are Cherry Glazerr, who released their latest album Stuffed & Ready back in February. Before the trek, Foals will have headlining shows in Phoenix and San Diego.

Pre-sale tickets go on sale tomorrow (November 12) here with the password “NEPTUNE.” Tickets go on sale to the general public this Friday (November 15) at 10 a.m. local time.

Foals will be plugging their new studio album Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost – Part 2, which is their first album to top the U.K. Album chart. Local Natives are promoting their latest studio album Violet Street, which includes the single "When Am I Gonna Lose You.”
