Read MoreOne week after announcing their postponement, ReedPOP have revealed the new dates for Emerald City Comic Con.
Announced today, the convention will take over Seattle’s Washington State Convention Center from August 21 through August 23. Fans who purchased a ticket to its original dates have the option to transfer their badges to the new dates. This will be available here through March 27. Anyone who doesn’t transfer will have their tickets automatically refunded.

Emerald City Comic Con will postpone their forthcoming event due to the coronovirus.
Announced today, the convention, which would’ve taken place next week inside Seattle’s Washington State Convention Center, will be rescheduled for the summer. “We did everything that we could to run the event as planned, but ultimately, we are following the guidance of the local public health officials indicating that conventions should now be postponed,” organizers ReedPOP said in a statement.
Earlier this week, ECCC offered refunds to fans not willing to attend the convention due to the coronavirus. Follow ECCC on Facebook and Twitter for updates regarding their re-scheduling.
If you’re a collector, you probably have a slew of Funko Pops in your place. Every year at Emerald City Comic Con, thousands of people try to grab one of the many rare Funko exclusives being sold. If you’re looking to have a chance at purchasing one of these collectibles, you won’t have to wait longer.
Announced yesterday, the Funko Drawing will open next Monday (February 3) at noon PST, and it’ll close on Sunday, February 16 at 11:59 PM PST. During this time, fans can submit their names in the lottery. The winners will be notified on Friday, February 21. Anyone with their name drawn will be part of either the 10 a.m. session or the noon session each day of the convention. Whatever is left of the exclusives will go on sale to the general public. ECCC will take place at the Washington State Convention Center from March 12 through Sunday, March 15. Passes are on sale here.
Emerald City Comic Con have announced a special panel celebrating the 35th anniversary of Back To The Future today.
The panel will include stars Christopher Lloyd, Lea Thompson, Michael J. Fox, and Tom Wilson. Aside from the panel, there will be special VIP experiences with the cast. This event, which will take place at the Hyatt Regency in Seattle, Washington on Saturday, March 14, is a separately ticketed event. Tickets for this event will go on sale in the near future.
