Released in 1996, Chex Quest was a perfect FPS for the youth. Based on the Doom engine, the game follows Chex Warrior’s journey to save the planet of Bazoik. Chex Quest made history by being the first video game to be a prize in cereal boxes. 24 years after its release, the game has been remade, and old-school fans are freaking out.

Chex Quest HD was announced back in 2016 by Chex Quest lead artist Charles Jacobi. The remake, which uses Unreal Engine 4, includes four-player local multiplayer to the mix. Following the original release of Chex Quest, two sequels were released, including 2008’s Chex Quest 3.
