Industrial act Severed Heads to disband after U.S. tour

Beloved industrial act Severed Heads will cease to exist following their forthcoming U.S. shows.

Announced today, the group will call it quits after 40 years. Following the break up, Tom Ellard will focus on his upcoming project Nilamox. Stewart Lawler, who joined Severed Heads in 2010, will continue working with his band Klaus, which he formed with Prayers in Ashes’ Jonathan Elliott back in 2013.

This news comes less than two months away from their upcoming U.S. tour, which will conclude with their final performance ever at Chicago’s Cold Waves Festival on September 21. Tickets for these shows are on sale right now.
