Today, The Strokes revealed they’re rocking their hometown with a New Year’s Eve gig inside Barclays Center.

If you were upset about not seeing them perform at Governors Ball Music Festival, they’re teaming up with the festival for a special pre-sale. Folks who bought 3-Day or Sunday tickets can get pre-sale tickets starting tomorrow (August 6) at 10am EST. Tickets will go on sale to the general public this Friday (August 9) at 10 a.m. EST.

The Strokes have been working on the follow up to their 2013 studio album Comedown Machine. They’ve been playing a new song titled "The Adults Are Talking" live at their gigs. You can hear that song below.
