U.S. installment of Independent Venue Week 2020 announce first round of venues

The third installment of Independent Venue Week’s U.S. edition arrives this summer, and today, the first string of venues have been revealed. You can check out the newly announced venues below.

Originally starting in the U.K. in 2014, this event helps showcase independent venues in the United States. The first U.S. installment of Independent Venue Week only had 20 participating venues, but the number has grown over time. “Last year's edition of Independent Venue Week saw 488 artists play in front of 35,000 fans across 83 venues. With the number of venues and promoters that are already confirmed for this July, it will be rewarding to see this initiative reach even more fans. We are particularly excited that several independent promoters will be joining us this year. We are unendingly grateful to the partners that have helped us shine light on these business leaders in their own communities,” stated managing partner Rev. Moose.

So far, 120 venues have been confirmed for this year’s event. Venues and promoters can still sign up to participate here. Independent Venue Week will take place from July 6 through July 12.
