Swiss singer-songwriter Mary Middlefield releases new single "This Ones For You," announces debut album

Swiss singer-songwriter Mary Middlefield unveiled their new single "This Ones For You" yesterday.
The new single was co-produced by Middlefield and frequent collaborator Gwen Buord. An accompanying music video, which can be seen below, was directed by Imogen Harrison (Peaky Blinders, Luz).
Middlefield said this about the new song:
“It was a pleasure working with the same crew of musicians throughout the project, and we had a lot of fun improvising throughout the process of making the track. As a child, we feel like we have to subscribe to certain stories we might come across in books or films and I wanted the track to mark a sarcastic tone to the traditional fairy tale, princess storylines we are fed.”
"This Ones For You" comes from Middlefield’s forthcoming debut album Thank You, Alexander, which will be released on March 3. The album will include the previously released singles "Two Thousand One" and "Band Aid."
