Seattle experimental metal band Sunn O))) will bring their Shoshin (初心) Duo live show, which features guitarists Greg Anderson and Stephen O’Malley, back on the road this winter.

Announced yesterday, the trek will kick off on December 9 inside The Masqeurade in Atlanta, and it’ll conclude with a performance at Los Angeles’ Lodge Room on February 4.

In 2019, Sunn O))) unveiled their recent studio albums Life Metal and Pyroclasts, which were both recorded and mixed by Steve Albini (Nirvana, The Jesus Lizard, Pixies). In 2020, the act unveiled three rehearsal sessions from their Life Metal album. Earlier this year, the act released the live album Metta, Benevolence BBC6 Music: Live on the Invitation of Mary Anne Hobbs, which was recorded at the BBC's Maida Vale Studios in October 2019.
