Spy x Family announces second season and a movie
Fans of Spy x Family will be eating good in 2023.
Announced at today’s Jump Fiesta 2023, a second season of the Spy x Family anime will arrive in the new year. If that’s not enough, a Spy x Family movie is also coming out in 2023. For the film, Spy x Family creator Tatsuya Endo will offer an original story, and they’ll work on character designs for the new characters appearing in the film. Endo also worked on a special promotional visual for the film, which can be seen below.
The second half of season one is currently streaming on Crunchyroll right now. A synopsis for the show reads:
World peace is at stake and secret agent Twilight must undergo his most difficult mission yet—pretend to be a family man. Posing as a loving husband and father, he’ll infiltrate an elite school to get close to a high-profile politician. He has the perfect cover, except his wife’s a deadly assassin and neither knows each other’s identity. But someone does, his adopted daughter who’s a telepath!
The Spy x Family manga has sold over 27 million copies worldwide.
