Calico: Pawsome Edition update arriving this week
Cat cafe simulator Calico is getting a big update later this week.
Revealed today, the Pawsome Edition update will arrive this Thursday (December 22) on consoles (Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S) and PC (Steam, Epic Games, Humble Store, itch.io, Game Jolt).
The free update will include the ability to customize floors and wallpaper in the cafe. The biggest part of the update is the cooking minigame. A description of the new minigame can be seen below:
The cooking that players have come to know and love have now been expanded! Each recipe now comes with its own series of minigames to perform in the kitchen. A new system for selling food in the cafe has also been added; time and accuracy in the recipe minigames will award players with a gold, silver, or bronze star, which will provide different bonuses to sales prices. But be careful: once customers have bought all the fresh food, star bonuses will disappear until that recipe is played again.

Calico is a day-in-the-life community sim game where you are given an important and adorable task: rebuild the town’s cat café and fill it with cute and cuddly creatures! Build up your café by filling it with cute furniture, fun decorations, yummy pastries, and get it bustling with animals again!
