Ships in the Night releases new single "First Light"
Darkwave act Ships in the Night have dropped their new single “First Light” today. The track comes with an accompanying music video directed by Aaron Farrington for To the End of the World Pictures. The visual was filmed at The Looking Glass at IX Art Park.
“First Light” stems from Ships in the Night’s forthcoming studio album Latent Powers, which will be released on October 27 via Cleopatra Records. Pre-orders can be made here.
This month, Ships in the Night will be making their way to two special music festivals. They’ll be performing at The Goth Invasion in Portland with special guests Gothic Lizard on October 14, and they’ll hitting up The Witch’s Ball in Charlottesville with special guests Synthetic Division and Solemn Shapes on October 30. On November 6, they’ll be performing at Charlotte’s Snug Harbor with Solemn Shapes and headlining act Secret Shame.
