San Diego Comic-Con 2020 announce free digital event from July 22 through July 26

In May, San Diego Comic-Con teased a virtual event to make up for this year’s convention being cancelled. Today, they unveiled more details on San Diego Comic-Con @ Home.
Announced on Collider, the event will take place digitally from July 22 through July 26, and it’ll feature a slew of panels. “For the first time in our 50-year history, we are happy to welcome virtually anyone from around the globe. Though stay-at-home conditions makes this a very difficult time, we see this as an opportunity to spread some joy and strengthen our sense of community,” San Diego Comic Con spokesperson David Glanzer told Collider. Aside from panels, there will also be an online exhibition hall to purchase exclusive items. This will be free for everyone to view. More information will be released closer to the event.
San Diego Comic-Con will return to San Diego Convention Center from July 22 - 25, 2021.
