Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time arrives this summer

Beloved cartoon Samurai Jack hasn’t had a proper video game since 2004’s Samurai Jack: The Shadow of Aku. That’s going to change with today’s announcement of Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time.

Adult Swim Games have teamed up with Japanese developer Soleil Games to develop this new hack-and-slash game, which ties into the show’s series finale. A trailer for the game can be seen below.

This Friday, Adult Swim Games will host a panel at PAX East, which will be filled with more information about this forthcoming title. If you can’t attend PAX East, this panel will be streamed live on PAX’s Twitch page.

Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time is slated to drop this summer on Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC.

Since 2009, MP3s and NPCs owner Terrance Pryor has written about music, conventions, cosplay, and video games for publications such as AXS, Examiner, Fake Walls, and Ranker.
