Rhythm JRPG Keylocker gets September 2024 release on consoles and PC
Rhythm JRPG Keylocker will launch on consoles and PC next month.
Revealed today, the title will have a September 16th release on the PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X/S, and PC (via Steam). A new trailer for the game can be seen here.
A synopsis for the game, which is developed by Moonana and published by Serenity Forge, reads:
In the dystopian metropolis of Saturn, a tyrannical regime has silenced all sound - making music is against the law. B0B0, a bold singer and songwriter must take the fate of Saturn into her hands to dismantle the corrupt government through tactical battles, navigating real-time executions of moves in a rhythm game style to triumph over adversaries, uncovering the mysteries of the city and its overlords and headline concerts with her band’s pulse-pounding electronic jams.
Inspired by classics like the Mario & Luigi RPG series and Chrono Trigger, Keylocker effortlessly combines the charm of physical comedy with rich storytelling and challenging strategic mechanics. This genre-defying mix of JRPG, narrative and rhythm elements promises an unforgettable experience.
Keylocker can be wishlisted here. A demo is currently available on Steam right now here.
