Psycho-Pass celebrates 10th anniversary with new film Psycho-Pass: Providence

Psycho-Pass fans will be greeted to a new film in the beloved anime franchise.
Announced on Saturday, Psycho-Pass: Providence will be directed by Naoyoshi Shiotani. There’s no official news about its release date. This will be the fourth film in the Psycho-Pass franchise; the last film was 2020’s Psycho-Pass 3: First Inspector.
Aside from the new film, the franchise will celebrate its 10th anniversary with a slew of activities, including a special online exhibition and the return of Psycho-Pass Radio. More information can be found here.
Debuting in 2012, Psycho-Pass is often seen as one of the best psychological thriller anime series out there. Psycho-Pass’ success launched a manga series, novels, and video games. Seasons one and two of Psycho-Pass can be streamed on Crunchyroll while season three and Psycho-Pass 3: First Inspector are available on Amazon Video.
Since 2009, MP3s and NPCs owner Terrance Pryor has written about music, conventions, cosplay, and video games for publications such as AXS, Examiner, Fake Walls, and Ranker. Based out of Los Angeles, the former rock concert promoter/radio host can be seen talking about rock music on AXS TV’s Music’s Greatest Mysteries and discussing music and whatever else on their Black Man Talks Rock channel on YouTube.
