Porno For Pyros to replace Jane's Addiction at Welcome To Rockville 2022
This weekend’s Welcome To Rockville 2022 has a huge lineup change.
Announced today, Jane’s Addiction, who were slated to perform this Sunday, have dropped off the festival due to Dave Navarro’s bout with COVID. Taking Jane’s Addiction’s place at Welcome To Rockville are Porno For Pyros in their first live concert performance in 26 years. In 2020, Porno For Pyros reunited for a special livestreamed set for Lollapalooza.
Perry Farrell said this about the lineup change:
“The gang and the government are no different. That makes me 1%. Rockville, although we are blue that Jane’s cannot be with you at this time due to Dave’s long bout with COVID, I am still coming to Daytona, bringing to you for the first time in 26 years Porno For Pyros Featuring myself, Perry Farrrell, Stephen Perkins, Peter DiStefeno and Mike Watt. We’ll play some Jane’s songs for you as well, but for now let’s recall: My boat’s capsized it’s gonna sink to the bottom. I can see the lights on the shore…”
Welcome To Rockville, which takes place at the Daytona International Speedway in Dayton Beach, Florida, will feature performances from Kiss, Korn, Smashing Pumpkins, and Halestorm. Tickets for the four-day event can be purchased here.
