Popular Netflix anime Aggretsuko to have fifth and final season in 2023

Aggretsuko will be ending next year.
Announced at yesterday’s Netflix Tudum event, the popular anime series will return for its fifth and final season in 2023. There’s no word on when the season will launch on the streaming service.
Debuting on Netflix in 2018, Aggretsuko has earned a great deal of praise from critics and fans alike. At the Crunchyroll Anime Awards, the anime earned a total of eight nominations, including Best Comedy in 2020.
A synopsis for the show reads:
Frustrated with her thankless office job, Retsuko the Red Panda copes with her daily struggles by belting out death metal karaoke after work.
Prior to the Netflix anime series, Aggretsuko was unveiled as one-minute anime shorts between 2016 and 2018. In 2020, a mobile game titled Aggretsuko: The Short Timer Strikes Back was unveiled, which gives players the chance to watch these anime shorts on their phone.
