Persian-Native American pop artist Chloe Star dropped their debut single “Element” yesterday.

The Los Angeles-based artist said this about the song, which is out on digital services right now:

““Element” is a carefree anthem about feeling yourself. “It’s a song about me just being in my element. My element is all about confidence, strength, ….constantly pushing the limit, living life on the edge, and enjoying every moment that life throws at you.”

Growing up, Star divided their time between living in Los Angeles and their family’s reservation in San Bernardino. The artist has spent the past few years perfecting their sound, and they’re ready to show what they’re made of.

“Element” stems from Star’s forthcoming debut EP, which will be released later this year.

Since 2009, MP3s and NPCs owner Terrance Pryor has written about music, conventions, cosplay, and video games for publications such as AXS, Examiner, Fake Walls, and Ranker. Based out of Los Angeles, the former rock concert promoter/radio host can be seen talking about rock music on AXS TV’s Music’s Greatest Mysteries and discussing music and whatever else on their Black Man Talks Rock channel on YouTube.
