PAX West 2024: Nintendo to appear, Capcom reveals titles

This year’s PAX West will see the addition of a heavy hitter in gaming.

Announced today, Nintendo will be a featured exhibitor at the convention, which takes place at the Seattle Convention Center from August 30 through September 2. They’ll be joining other AAA exhibitors Bandai Namco, FINAL FANTASY XIV, and Larian Studios.

Capcom have also revealed the North American debut of the Monster Hunter Wilds demo, the global debut of the Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster demo, and the North American debut for Street Fighter 6’s new character Terry Bogard at PAX West. The developer will also hold a Street Fighter 6 tournament at the event. More information about the tournament will be revealed soon.

Jerry Holkins, co-founder of Penny Arcade and PAX said this about the event:

“We’re here to celebrate where it all started, twenty years ago. Technically it started just east of here, in Bellevue. But that doesn’t make for as good a quote.”

Four-day and single-day badges for PAX West 2024 are on sale to the general public right now here. More information about the convention can be found here.

Since 2009, MP3s and NPCs owner Terrance Pryor has written about music, conventions, cosplay, and video games for publications such as AXS, Examiner, Fake Walls, and Ranker. Based out of Los Angeles, the former rock concert promoter/radio host can be seen talking about rock music on AXS TV’s Music’s Greatest Mysteries and discussing music and whatever else on their Black Man Talks Rock channel on YouTube.
