PAX East 2024 announced (celebrating PAX's 20th anniversary)

PAX will celebrate its 20th anniversary at next year’s PAX East.

Announced today, PAX East 2024 will take place at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center in Boston from Thursday, March 21 to Sunday, March 24. Badges for PAX East will go on sale to the general public this Thursday (November 16) here. Four-day badges will go on sale for $250 while single-day badges will cost $67.

Jerry Holkins, co-founder of Penny Arcade, Child's Play, and PAX said this about next year’s festivities:

"As we start into the twentieth year of PAX, PAX East is sure to set things off in a spectacular fashion. Years ago, we thought we'd never need a venue like Boston's incredible BCEC. But gamers proved us wrong."

PAX got its start back in August 2004 at the Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue, Washington. Beginning in 2010, Penny Arcade began expanding PAX to cities such as Boston, Melbourne, and Philadelphia.

Since 2009, MP3s and NPCs owner Terrance Pryor has written about music, conventions, cosplay, and video games for publications such as AXS, Examiner, Fake Walls, and Ranker. Based out of Los Angeles, the former rock concert promoter/radio host can be seen talking about rock music on AXS TV’s Music’s Greatest Mysteries and discussing music and whatever else on their Black Man Talks Rock channel on YouTube.
