Content creator Parker Coppins (a.k.a. ParkerGames) is looking to raise $1 million to create awareness about COVID-19’s impact on mental health through Boxed In: The Enclosure Experience.

Taking place from April 19 through April 28, Coppins will isolate inside a 12’ x 9’ Plexi-box, and they’ll stream their entire experience over on their Twitch channel. During this massive livestream, Coppins will be playing various video games and encouraging viewers to donate to Take This, which is a non-profit mental health organization geared towards the video game community. During the event, a slew of guests will stop by, including Take This clinical doctor Dr. Raffael Boccamazzo a.k.a. Dr. B.

In a statement about the event, Coppins said:

“By raising awareness of mental health, depression and isolation – how it affects many in the gaming community, my goal will be to reinforce to those who are currently dealing with these issues, that they are not alone. Covid has taken a toll on everyone’s mental health. I felt it was necessary to not only raise much needed funds for a great cause, but in my own way help reduce the stigma about seeking support.”
