Ozzy Osbourne will rock SoFi Stadium next week.
Announced today, the rocker will perform at the halftime show for the Los Angeles Rams vs Buffalo Bills game on Thursday, September 8. While those in attendance will get great set featuring a medley of hits, viewers watching on NBC and Peacock will only get to see a portion of the performance.
Ozzy is no stranger to performing at NFL games; in 2005, Osbourne performed at the New England Patriots’ season opener.
The performance will come hours before the release of Osbourne’s forthcoming studio album Patient Number 9. The album features guest appearances from artists such as Zakk Wylde, Black Sabbath co-founder Tony Iommi, and the late Taylor Hawkins of Foo Fighters.
Osbourne said this about working with Iommi on the new album:
“It was really great working with Tony. He’s the riff master. No one can touch him in that respect. I only wish we had these songs for Black Sabbath’s 13 album.”
Osbourne recently announced a signing at Long Beach’s Fingerprints on Saturday, September 10.
Since 2009, MP3s and NPCs owner Terrance Pryor has written about music, conventions, cosplay, and video games for publications such as AXS, Examiner, Fake Walls, and Ranker. Based out of Los Angeles, the former rock concert promoter/radio host can be seen talking about rock music on AXS TV’s Music’s Greatest Mysteries and discussing music and whatever else on their Black Man Talks Rock channel on YouTube.
