Iconic electronic act OMD unveiled the music video for their single "Kleptocracy.”

The visual, which can be seen below, was created by Cine1080Studio. Vocalist Andy McCluskey said this about the song:

"This is the most political song that we have ever recorded. The band believes that democracy is the only legitimate way to balance different opinions and create a functioning representative government. Sadly, we are living through times that see us ruled by thieves and flagrant liars. Democracy has been subverted by 'Kleptocracy.'"

"Kleptocracy" will be released in limited edition 7", 12", and CD singles on March 22. Pre-orders can be made here. The song stems from OMD’s new album Bauhaus Staircase, which is out on digital services right now via White Noise.

On September 20, OMD will headline Los Angeles’ Greek Theatre. Tickets for this trek are on sale to the general public here. A North American tour will be announced soon.

Since 2009, MP3s and NPCs owner Terrance Pryor has written about music, conventions, cosplay, and video games for publications such as AXS, Examiner, Fake Walls, and Ranker. Based out of Los Angeles, the former rock concert promoter/radio host can be seen talking about rock music on AXS TV’s Music’s Greatest Mysteries and discussing music and whatever else on their Black Man Talks Rock channel on YouTube.
