Old World gains new soundtrack from Grammy-winning composer Christopher Tin
Historical strategy game Old World has some new music courtesy of composer Christopher Tin.
Released yesterday, the 12-track soundtrack features appearances from Abeer Nehme, Camille Feghali, Meena Shamaly, and Layal Watfeh. Tin said this about the new music:
"'Old World' is a blend of Arabic music with contemporary post-classical influences. I spent 8 months writing it and producing it, much of it in collaboration with a fantastic group of international collaborators, from Beirut to Budapest, Istanbul to Melbourne, Dubai to Zurich."
Tin is best known for composing “Baba Yetu” from Civilization IV, which became the first video game music to win a Grammy. Tin also earned two Grammys for Best Classical Crossover Album and Best Instrumental Arrangement with their classical crossover album Calling All Dawns.
The Old World soundtrack is available here. Old World can be purchased on the Epic Games Store right now. The game will make its way to Steam and GOG next spring.
