Nikka Costa announces new album 'Dirty Disco,' shares title track

Nikka Costa is back with their first new music in six years.
Today, the artist released their single “Dirty Disco,” which was produced by Justin Stanley (Prince, Jamie Lidell, Beck). An accompanying music video, which can be seen below, was directed by Bobbi Rich.
Costa said this about the new single:
“Dirty Disco is a song about a place anyone can go to be themselves and let their freak flag fly! It’s about a place where no one is looking, no one cares what you're doing or what you're into. It could be a disco, but it could also be another planet or headspace or vibe. It's dark and sparkly, blue and purple. Gritty, raw and sexy. Whatever you want it to be.‘Everyone is welcome, everyone’s an Avatar.’”
“Dirty Disco” is the title track of Costa’s newly announced studio album, which will be released on June 7. Pre-orders for the album, which follows Costa’s 2017 studio album Nikka & Strings: Underneath and in Between, can be made here.
