Fans of My Hero Academia in attendance at New York Comic Con were treated to a special concert event.

Last night, the My Hero Academia Live Concert Experience brought in a slew of anime fans to the Main Stage for a 90-minute performance of great music from the series. Performing throughout the night were Soundtrec, who have done live concerts for popular properties such as Sonic the Hedgehog and Final Fantasy. For the encore, Japanese composer Yuki Hayashi, who is best known for their work on the My Hero Academia anime series, took the stage.

Photos of the event, which can be seen here, were taken by Matthew Coleto for Crunchyroll.

The sixth season of My Hero Academia premiered last week. New and previous episodes can be streamed on Crunchyroll in subbed and dubbed formats right now.

A synopsis for season six reads:

With Bakugo and Todoroki, Deku is doing his work study at the office of the number one hero, Endeavor. Working hard in the best possible environment, he is growing as a hero and using Blackwhip, a new Quirk that was hiding in One For All. Meanwhile, Tomura Shigaraki from the League of Villains clashes against the Metahuman Liberation Army led by Re-Destro. While he's being driven into a corner fighting Re-Destro, he recovers forgotten memories of his terrible childhood and is awakened. He seizes the Metahuman Liberation Army, expands its influence, and now desires a new power for himself to destroy everything.
