New End Original's (ex-Far, Texas Is The Reason) 'Thriller' album getting first vinyl release in 20 years
New End Original’s sole studio album will see a vinyl release for the first time since 2001.
The 11-track album will be re-released on vinyl via Jade Tree. The album will be available on blood orange, purple, and black vinyl. Pre-orders can be made here. The vinyl is slated to be released on July 22.
Formed in 1999, New End Original featured ex-Far vocalist Jonah Matranga, former Texas Is The Reason members Scott Winegard and Norman Arenas and former Chamberlain drummer Charlie Walker. Two years after the release of 2001’s Thriller, New End Original disbanded. Following the group’s breakup, Matranga continued performing under the onelinedrawing moniker, Winegard and Arenas would bring Texas Is The Reason back for a handful of performances, and Walker would play drums for bands such as Samiam and Institute, which featured Bush vocalist Gavin Rossdale
