Netflix to distribute and produce live-action My Hero Academia film
Legendary Entertainment’s forthcoming live-action My Hero Academia film is getting some assistance from Netflix.
Announced today, the streaming service will produce and distribute the forthcoming adaptation. The film, which was announced last year, will be directed by Shinsuke Sato (Alice in Borderland, The Princess Blade) in their English-language debut. Aside from Netflix’s partnership, it was also revealed that Joby Harold (Obi-Wan Kenobi, The Flash, John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum) will be writing the screenplay.
The sixth season of My Hero Academia is currently streaming on Crunchyroll right now in subbed and dubbed formats right now.
