Monstercat announces collaboration with Paladins
Electronic label Monstercat will be joining forces with hero shooter Paladins for a special collaboration.
Announced yesterday, the record label will deliver music and special artist skins to the popular video game via its Crossover Pass, which launches on March 23. GG Magree’s “Deja Reve,” WHIPPED CREAM’s “CRY,” Justin OH’s, “Bring Me Down,” and Bossfight’s “Warp” will be featured in the game alongside skins GG Magree Skye and Justin OH Khan. Twitch Prime Gaming subscribers will be able to grab WHIPPED CREAM Cassie starting on April 5 and Bossfight Koga beginning on May 5.
Monstercat’s Head of Gaming, Gavin Johnson said this about the collaboration:
“After last year’s successful SMITE collaboration with Hi-Rez, we’re thrilled to team up again for the Monstercat x Paladins Crossover Pass. These immersive partnerships bring not only the players an authentic, music-powered experience in-game, but the artists also get to reimagine themselves and share their songs in a way they never have before. It’s an exciting creative endeavor for everyone involved and we can’t wait to see it come to life next month.”
If that’s not enough, a new character will arrive in Paladins that same day. Betty la Bomba uses their bombs to their advantage. A character trailer can be seen below. More information about the new character and Crossover Pass can be found here.
Paladins is available for free on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC right now.
