Militarie Gun and Cobra Man featured in new Taco Bell ads
Taco Bell has enlisted the aid of two rising acts to deliver the soundtrack for their new commercials.
Revealed today, Los Angeles hardcore band Militarie Gun and Los Angeles power disco band Cobra Man have lent their music for two new ads. Dazy and Militarie Gun's "Pressure Cooker (Remix)” is featured in the Deluxe Build Your Own Cravings ad while Cobra Man's single "Powered Up" is included in the Nacho Fries ad. Previous Taco Bell ads featured music from acts such as Portugal. The Man and Turnstile.
Militarie Gun’s Ian Shelton said this about joining the campaign:
“Taco Bell is an institution in the touring world, it’s what literally every band finds themselves eating, probably more often than they would like to admit. Ever since I was a kid and heard of them giving food to touring bands, I imagined getting free Taco Bell. Can’t believe it’s finally happened.”
Cobra Man also said:
“We’re honored to be a part of this. May the ‘Bell’ ring forever!”
Tim Bergevin, Taco Bell’s Vice President of Influencer and Community Marketing said this:
“Being able to provide a platform for artists alongside our great food is something only Taco Bell can do. The diversity of the artists we work with matches up with the diversity of our consumers and team members which is what makes Feed The Beat so special.”
Militarie Gun are set to release their debut album Life Under The Gun on June 23 via Loma Vista Recordings. The band will have a slew of performances in the United States and Europe in the following months. Tour dates can be seen here.
Cobra Man will release their new EP New Paradise I on May 19. The band will embark on a trek across the United States later this week. Tour dates can be seen here.
