Midsummer Scream moves to Anaheim in 2027, Season's Screamings to return

After a decade at the Long Beach Convention Center, Midsummer Scream will make a major jump next year.

Revealed yesterday, Midsummer Scream will move to the Anaheim Convention Center for next year’s event, which takes place during August 6 through August 8. The folks behind Midsummer Scream aren’t leaving the beloved Long Beach venue, though. They also revealed the return of Season’s Screamings, which takes place from December 5 and 6, 2027 at the Long Beach Convention Center.

David Markland, executive director and co-founder of Midsummer Scream said this about the convention’s move to Anaheim:

“The amazing community of Halloween and horror fans continues to grow, and we’re excited to be able to grow with it. It’s bittersweet to leave a venue as amazing as the Long Beach Convention Center, but we look forward to all the new opportunities awaiting us in Anaheim.”

Tickets for Midsummer Scream and Season’s Screamings will go on sale in early 2027. More information about the events can be found here. Our photos from Midsummer Scream over the weekend can be found here.
