Microsoft teams up with Antstream for Retro Classics on Game Pass

Microsoft is bringing some classic gaming to Game Pass members.
Released today, Retro Classics is done via a collaboration with Antstream Arcade. Game Pass members will be able to play a plethora of classic titles from Activision such as Pitfall, Mech Warrior 2: 31st Century Combat, and Commando. Aside from diving into older titles, players can compete in challenges with others worldwide. More games from Activision as well as titles from Blizzard Entertainment and more will be added to the service soon.

Discover timeless classics and hidden gems with Game Pass. Retro Classics includes over 50 restored and ready-to-play games available for Xbox Game Pass members. Power up your play with community challenges, competitive leaderboards, all-new challenge modes, high-score rankings and more. Play over 50 classic games from Activision like Commando, Grand Prix, Kaboom! Mech Warrior 2: 31st Century Combat, and Pitfall! . Take on friends, rivals or the entire world with unique challenges – or dive in solo – and collect achievements. Save your progress and continue later for the first time for many games. Available for Game Pass members to play on console, PC, and on supported devices with cloud gaming.

Antstream Arcade, which is a cloud-based subscription service featuring over 1,300 licensed titles, currently has a one-year subscription for $9.99 over on Xbox. This deal will end on June 4. More information about Antstream Arcade can be found here.
