Maximilian Dood and Twitch Rivals announce Mortal Kombat X tournament

Maximilian Dood will be teaming up with Twitch Rivals again for another major fighting game tournament.

Max Presents: MKX Lives! will feature 32 of the best Mortal Kombat X players competing on the virtual stage. 31 players, including Sonicfox and Unrooolie have already been revealed. The 32nd player will be determined through the MKX Lives! Open Qualifier tournament on May 22, which is being hosted by MrAquaman. Registration for the event, which ends on May 21, can be made here. The 31 announced players can be seen below.

Aside from the tournament, the event will feature footage of some of best moments from previous Mortal Kombat X tournaments and a special look behind the game’s development with Ed Boon, Tyler Lansdown, and members of NetherRealm Studios.

The entire tournament will take place on May 24 at 3 p.m. EST/12 p.m. PST on Maximilian Dood’s Twitch channel.
