After going digital last year, the annual Cold Waves festival will be returning to rock Chicago this September.

Announced today, the festival will take place on September 24 through September 26 inside Metro, Smart Bar, and G-Man Tavern. The event will feature headlining sets from Front 242, Stabbing Westward, and Clipping. Other acts slated to perform include Youth Code, Korine, and Consolidated with their first live performance in over 20 years.

Cold Waves founder Jason Novak said this about the forthcoming event:

“After almost 10 years since Jamie’s passing, it’s amazing to me to see how much this event helps carry people, helps support and enrich them… something he was known for doing himself. Not just the charitable aspects, but the event being such a source of positivity for so many, it’s pretty great. We can’t wait to bring this year’s amazing lineup together and levitate the audience after such a dark year."

Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Monday, May 24 at 10 a.m. CST/8 a.m. PST, but a limited amount of weekend passes are available here.
