Low Cut Connie releases new single "What Has Happened To Me"

Philadelphia rock act Low Cut Connie are asking “What Has Happened To Me” with their new single today.

The song deals with personal issues surrounding vocalist Adam Weiner. "It's a heavy song for me. Very freeing. A lot of wild shit happened over the last few years and I just kind of let it all hang out with that one," Weiner said in a statement.

The track stems from Low Cut Connie’s forthcoming double album Private Lives, which is slated for an October 13 release on Contender Records/MidCitizen Records. "I’m obsessed with understanding people’s interior lives,” Weiner said in a statement. "In order to explore that idea, I had to create a flow that went in and out of these characters’ private spheres. There had to be a push and pull between their external and internal worlds. I knew if I was going to pull that off, I was going to have to make a big album.”

Pre-orders for Private Lives can be made here. This is the follow up to 2018’s Dirty Pictures (Part 2), which landed them their network television debut on Late Night with Seth Meyers.

Since 2009, MP3s and NPCs owner Terrance Pryor has written about music, conventions, cosplay, and video games for publications such as AXS, Examiner, Fake Walls, and Ranker.
