Fans of the Love Live! franchise are in for a treat at this year’s Anime Expo.

Announced today, a special event named Love Live! Series Event: Nice to See You in LA!! will go down at the JW Marriott Platinum Ballroom on Saturday, July 1st from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Joining the event are Aika Kobayashi (Voice of Yohane from “YOHANE THE PARHELION – SUNSHINE in the MIRROR-“), Mayu Sagara (Voice of Kasumi Nakasu from “Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club”), and Sayuri Date (Voice of Kanon Shibuya from “Love Live! Sunshine!!”). During the 90-minute event, fans will be greeted by interviews with the guests, special screenings, and more.

Debuting in 2010, the Love Live! franchise has earned over $1.5 billion in Japan (¥166.9 billion). A spinoff anime series titled Genjitsu no Yohane: Sunshine in the Mirror, which features the cast of Love Live! Sunshine!!, is slated to premiere this July. Recently, a Love Live! musical titled Love Live! School Idol Musical took place in Tokyo and Osaka. Last week, a live album of the musical was released.
