Korn team up with Yelawolf for cover of Charlie Daniels' "The Devil Went Down To Georgia"

Weeks after the death of country singer Charlie Daniels, Korn have released their cover of “The Devil Went Down To Georgia” today.
For this track, the band are joined by rapper Yelawolf. The track was originally recorded back in 2019 when they were working on The Nothing. In a statement, Korn vocalist Jonathan Davis said:
“I’ve always said it, but country music is some of the darkest ever. Merle Haggard, Buck Owens, and, of course, Charlie Daniels all turned pain into some really powerful music that sounded alive. ‘The Devil Went Down to Georgia’ is a classic story, and we wanted to release it now to help others in need.”
All proceeds from the single, which can be purchased on Bandcamp, will go towards non-profit organization Awakening Youth. A special Korn x Awakening Youth patch can be purchased here.
Korn will talk about the cover and Awakening Youth on IG Live today at 6 p.m. EST/3 pm. PST.
