Philadelphia alternative rock band Knifeplay will deliver their third studio album next year.
Revealed today, What Is Truth? will be released on January 22 via Double Double Whammy. The 12-track album includes the songs “Love Song,” “Lord, Where are You?,” and “Agonizing Mountain,” which were first featured on the band’s 2025 live EP titled Live In Seattle. “Love Song,” which is the first single from the forthcoming album, comes with a music video directed by Ben Turok. The director said this about the visual, which can be seen below:
“This couple is a real 20-year-old couple I casted for the video and drove with from LA to New York. I had planned most of what we shot but of course some things just happened and that's most of what I liked in the end. I wanted to make something epic in scope, that had all this beauty and emotion baked into its images."
Pre-orders for What Is Truth? can be made here. This is the follow-up to Knifeplay’s 2022 studio album Animal Drowning.
