Swedish indie-folk artist José González is celebrating the 20th anniversary of their debut album Veneer with a special re-release and anniversary tour.

Announced today, the deluxe edition of Veneer will arrive on October 27 via Mute, and it’ll include the original album as well as a bonus CD featuring live material from their 2003 show at Gothenburg Concert Hall. Pre-orders for the deluxe edition can be made here.

González will celebrate the album’s 20th anniversary with a slew of dates across North America next spring, which will find them playing the album in full alongside fan favorites. Tickets for these anniversary shows will go on sale to the general public next Friday (August 11).

This fall, González will have a special trek consisting of a screening of the documentary A Tiger In Paradise, a conversation between the artist and documentary director Mikel Cee Karlsson, and a special solo performance from González.
