Jeff Rosenstock guitarist Mike Huguenor to unveil video game in August

Jeff Rosenstock guitarist Mike Huguenor will deliver a video game in celebration of the one-year anniversary of Surfing the Web With the Alien.

Revealed today, Surfing the Web With the Alien: The Game will be released on PC (via Steam and itch.io) on August 20 via Infinite Baffle. The game will also arrive on limited edition Game Boy cartridges. Huguenor worked on the game in between writing the book Elvis is Dead, I’m Still Alive: The Story of Asian Man Records and touring with Rosenstock. Announcement and gameplay trailers can be seen below.

A synopsis for the game reads:

Written, programmed, drawn, and printed by Mike Huguenor, Surfing the Web With the Alien is a full playable video game of his 2025 new guitar pop album.

Can you survive a day on the road as a touring musician and perform before tonight's crowd? Find out in SURFING THE WEB WITH THE ALIEN. Available as a Gameboy cartridge or online.
