John Ledford, President of HIDIVE said this about Hero Without a Class: Who Even Needs Skills?!, which is based on Shichio Kuzu’s light novel series of the same name:
“We’re thrilled to reveal Hero Without a Class: Who Even Needs Skills?! as the first in our slate of exclusive simulcasts series for Fall 2025. Everybody loves a hero and fans need look no further than this new action-packed fantasy series. Get ready to experience a new kind of hero this fall. And only on HIDIVE!”
A synopsis for the series reads:
In this world a goddess bestows each person with a class and skills that will determine one’s life direction. Despite being born the son of a Sword Princess and an Archmage, Arel has not received a class or skills. So, Arel must rely on his own grit, determination and natural talents to pursue and achieve greatness—becoming a new kind of hero. A hero without a class!
