Connecticut jam band Goose have released their new track “Your Direction” today.

An accompanying music video for the song, which was directed by Will Thresher, can be seen here. Guitarist Rick Mitarotonda said this about the new song, which has been in the works for several years:

“There’s a fundamental tension in there. Between taking risks and going for something, and all the voices and forces that hold you back from doing it. Like so many tracks on the album, it marks an arrival of sorts. Something that was on a shelf for some time before finding its moment. Ultimately, it’s fun. But I love when you can operate in multiple registers. Take something light and fun and have a bit of life and weight that gets layered in, too.”

“Your Direction” comes from Goose’s upcoming album Everything Must Go, which will drop on April 25 via No Coincidence Records. Vinyl and CD pre-orders for the album can be made here.

Goose will be touring in support of the release with a handful of festival appearances this spring. Tour dates can be seen below. Tickets are on sale to the general public right now here.
