Four Resident Evil games coming to the Nintendo Switch via cloud

Four Resident Evil games will make their way to the Nintendo Switch via the cloud.

Announced at today’s Nintendo Direct, Resident Evil Village, Resident Evil 7 biohazard, and the remakes of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 will arrive on the console. The cloud version of Resident Evil Village will arrive on October 28. A demo of Resident Evil Village Cloud is available right now. Cloud versions of the other three titles are currently in development with a planned release in 2023.

Resident Evil Village Cloud will have access to the upcoming Winters' Expansion, which will drop on December 2. The expansion includes third person mode, additional characters for The Mercenaries, and a new story expansion titled Shadows of Rose.

Since its release in 2021, Resident Evil Village has sold over six million copies. At last year’s Game Awards, the game won for Best Performance with Maggie Robertson’s portrayal as Lady Dimitrescu.

Since 2009, MP3s and NPCs owner Terrance Pryor has written about music, conventions, cosplay, and video games for publications such as AXS, Examiner, Fake Walls, and Ranker. Based out of Los Angeles, the former rock concert promoter/radio host can be seen talking about rock music on AXS TV’s Music’s Greatest Mysteries and discussing music and whatever else on their Black Man Talks Rock channel on YouTube.
