Former IGN employees start video game podcast network X Button
Weeks after being let go from IGN, a few noticeable names in video games journalism will continue discussing their love for gaming.
Former IGN employees Brian Altano, Max Scoville, and Seth Macy have joined forces to create the video game podcast network X Button. The network will feature two weekly gaming podcasts: Ninfriendo 64 (a podcast focusing on all things Nintendo) and X Button Video Game Podcast (a general video games podcast). A third weekly podcast titled Cheeseburger Boat Cruise is exclusively featured on the X Button patreon.
A statement from X Button reads:
Hey! It's Brian Altano, Max Scoville, and Seth Macy. Thanks for finding us! It's been a weird couple of weeks, huh? Anyways, let's make the best of it!
Welcome to our brand new independent podcast network X BUTTON!
We're launching two brand new weekly video game shows (one covering all things Nintendo and one covering all things video games on every platform) and we're really excited to make them!
We'd LOVE if you became a member of our Patreon! It's free but there are a bunch of fun perks for paid members that we think you'd love too.
We're also on YouTube, Instagram, BlueSky, Threads, Twitter, Facebook, Twitch, iTunes, Spotify, and a bunch of other places we're probably forgetting but you can find most of 'em right here:
X Button’s Patreon page can be located here.
