The 2021 installment of The Game Awards is tomorrow, and millions of gamers worldwide will be tuning in to see who wins and check out some explosive game reveals. Much like last year, we decided to make five predictions on what might go down during the awards ceremony, which takes place at Los Angeles’ Microsoft Theater. The Game Awards, which starts at 8 p.m. EST/5 p.m. PST, will air live on numerous streaming platforms, including Twitch and YouTube.

Forza Horizon 5 wins Player's Voice

Plenty of gamers were irate when Forza Horizon 5 didn't get nominated for the highly coveted Game of the Year award. Released in November, the game became a smash hit for Xbox with over 10 million players in its first week. We can expect those gamers to rally together to get Forza Horizon 5 the fan-voted Player's Voice award.

The Simpsons: Hit & Run Remastered announced

One game that people wish could return in some form is The Simpsons: Hit & Run. Released in 2003, the Grand Theft Auto-inspired title became an instant hit with fans with three million sales worldwide. This summer, YouTuber reubs offered a fan remastering of the game only for it to be taken down in a copyright strike. Perhaps this means an official remaster has been in the works for some time?

Psychonauts 2 wins Game of the Year

Psychonauts 2 has been a long time coming for fans of the beloved 2005 platformer. The game managed to win over the hearts of those who enjoyed the first game back in the day or those jumping in the world for the first time. In such a tough category, we're expecting Psychonauts 2 to take home the big trophy.

During the first few minutes of Ark II's reveal at last year's Game Awards, many people mistook it for a new Dino Crisis game. While that wasn't the case, many people have been hoping for a new Dino Crisis game for several years. In 2019, a new trademark for Dino Crisis was filed by Capcom, which gave some people hope for another installment.

Genshin Impact wins Best Ongoing Game

Released in September 2020, Genshin Impact quickly grew to become a massively successful RPG title with over 50 million players between mobile phones, consoles, and PC. While it didn't win for Best RPG or Best Mobile Game at last year's Game Awards, we're expecting it to grab the Best Ongoing Game trophy.
