Final Fantasy games getting physical releases on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5

A handful of Final Fantasy games will see physical releases in the United States this December.
Announced yesterday, four games in the series will be released physically for the first time in the region. For Nintendo Switch owners, Final Fantasy IX and a special Final Fantasy VII & Final Fantasy VIII Remastered twin-pack will be released on December 9. Both releases will cost $39.99. Final Fantasy VII, the timeless classic loved by a legion of fans, is now available with a number of helpful extra features! Experience an epic adventure beyond imagination, culminating in the final battle to decide the fate of the planet.
The world has fallen under the dominion of the Shinra Electric Power Company, a sinister corporation that has monopolized the planet’s very life force as Mako energy.
In the urban megalopolis of Midgar, an anti-Shinra rebel group calling themselves Avalanche have stepped up their campaign of resistance.

FINAL FANTASY VIII Remastered
The mega-hit RPG, FINAL FANTASY VIII returns!
