Earthworm Jim 2 is playable on the Nintendo Switch right now
One of the ‘90s most beloved platformers is available on the Nintendo Switch.
On Wednesday, Nintendo revealed that Earthworm Jim 2 is available to play for Nintendo Switch Online subscribers. Released in 1995, the title gained a plethora of praise for its humor, gameplay, and soundtrack done by Tommy Tallarico. The Sega Genesis version of the game, which omitted the ability to switch weapons, was originally ported to the Wii in 2009.
What makes this puzzling for some is the first game in the Earthworm Jim franchise isn’t on the service. While you obviously don’t need to play it to get an understanding of its sequel, many people are hoping it shows up on Nintendo Switch Online in the future.
Back in November, an Earthworm Jim TV series was announced.
