Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero will have 181 playable characters at launch

Fans of the Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi franchise were determined Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero would have a massive roster like its previous installments. Fortunately for them, they’re correct!

Yesterday, Bandai Namco revealed the forthcoming installment in the Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi franchise will have a whopping 181 playable characters at launch. This easily outweighs Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3, which had 161 characters in the game. 27 new fighters were announced for the game, including Android 13 and Fusion Android 13 from Super Android 13, Super Garlic Jr. from Dead Zone, Dr. Wheelo from The World’s Strongest, Lord Slug and his Giant Form from Lord Slug, Turles from The Tree of Might, and Bojack alongside Full-Power Bojack from Bojack Unbound. A roster reveal showcase can be seen here.

Pre-orders for Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero can be made here. The game will be released on October 11 via the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
