Divine Sweater unveil new single "I Knew You Better"
Boston indie-pop group Divine Sweater has unveiled their new single “I Knew You Better.”
The heavenly cut, which you can hear below, is the first single from the band’s forthcoming studio album Divine Sweater Presents: The Ten Year Plan, which drops on March 26th. When it comes to the new album, the band said:
“Throughout our twenties, we have each been asked countless times where we expect to see ourselves in five to ten years. Our album touches upon the ways in which we lie to ourselves and to others about the economic, professional, and social plans we have in place. More importantly, it addresses the fact that plans, for the most part, are nonsense anyway because life is unpredictable.
Our songs tap into a few specific feelings: knowing you are living your life wrong, longing for a lifestyle that aligns with your passions, yearning for a fostering community, and doubting that any of these aspirations will ever even come to fruition.”
Divine Sweater Presents: The Ten Year Plan is the follow-up to the band’s 2019 debut album Human Love, which garnered over two million Spotify plays. While the band gear up for the release of their sophomore studio album, they recently raised money for production on album number three. “I Knew You Better” is available right now on Bandcamp, Spotify, and Apple Music.
